About Us Jennifer Englese is a pediatric physical therapist and the owner/director of Thera-Pede, Pediatric Therapy Services. Jennifer opened Thera-Pede in 2007 to meet the growing need for quality therapeutic services both at home and in schools. She prides herself in providing quality kid-friendly therapy to her young patients. Jennifer has extensive experience working with children of all ages in schools, hospitals, clinics and home care. She has expertise working with assistive technology and evaluating for assistive devices such as walkers, wheelchairs and orthotics. Jennifer is trained in many therapeutic techniques which she incorporates into her therapy sessions such as: NDT (neurodevelopmental treatment), sensory integration techniques, kinesiotaping, ball handling, yoga for the pediatric population and MEDEK techniques. Jennifer believes in the importance of being up-to-date with current treatment trends and research. She attends numerous continuing education courses per year and utilizes her knowledge during all treatment sessions to ensure each child reaches their fullest potential. Jennifer has also lectured on numerous therapeutic topics to professionals, parents and educators. Jennifer received her Physical Therapy degree at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut .
